Returning to school in January 2012

Children will return to school on Tuesday 10th January, 2012 after the Christmas break. This is in order to provide the new Headteacher, Mrs. Bufton-McCoy, with an opportunity to carry out professional development with all the staff at the beginning of term.

Gold Medal for Gymnast Sophie Winfield

Sophie took part in the County Gymnastics Championships Level 5+ on September, 4th , 2011. She took overall Gold in the vault, bars beam and floor which was an outstanding achievement.

This means that Sophie will move up to Level 4 for her next competition and she will be taking part in the Regional Championships on Sunday October, 16th.

Well done Sophie - we are so proud of you.

Open Reading Sessions

On Wednesday 12th October, 2011 from 2.45 to 3.15 p.m. we will be holding an "Open Reading Session" for parents.

Parents will be able to join their child in class for a reading session. We hope as many parents as possible will be able to attend to help us promote the importance of reading and the wide range of reading both in and out of the classroom.

Lost Property

The lost property box in reception is already over-flowing. If your child has mislaid an item of clothing please remember to check the box.
