First full day for Foundation Stage children
The day has gone very well and I'm sure there will be some very tired children this evening.

Harvest Festival Service at Marlborough Square - Friday 15th October 2010
Everyone is welcome to join us in our annual Harvest Festival Service at Marlborough which will start at 10.a.m. There will be tea/coffee and biscuits served in the school hall for those who would like to walk down to the church with their child's class.
We are also collecting food stuffs like tins, jars and bottles for the Marlene Reid Centre who make food parcels for the homeless and needy in and around North West Leicestershire. Any donations will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Cross Country Event
On Saturday 2nd October 2010 the first cross country running event of the year is taking place at Western Park, Leicester. The first race will commence at 10.00 a.m. children will need to be there by 9.45 a.m. There is no parking on the roadside or grass verge however parking is available on the New College site on Glenfield Road at at charge of £1.00

Miner's Gala Parade - Snibston Discovery Park Saturday 1th September 2010
Years 3/4 and 5/6 have taken part once again in making decorative items with a local artist so that they can take part in the Miner's Gala Parade this coming Saturday. The parade starts at 10.30 am.

Family Lifestyle Club
Are you a parent or Guardian of a 4-8 year old and would like to know more about healthy eating and active play? Starting Monday 4th October 2010 4-6pm for 8 weeks are family sessions that provide ideas and activities on healthy eating.

Karate at Belvoirdale
Karate club has restarted and there are places available for anyone wishing to take this sport up.
Karate club takes place on Friday straight after school in the hall.
