So long to Mrs. Bainbridge
For the last 40 years Mrs. Bainbridge has worked in various roles at Belvoirdale Primary School and it is with much sadness that we wish her all the best on her retirement. Most people know Mrs.Bainbridge in her role as Midday Manager and Administration Officer.
Mrs. Bainbridge leaves on Friday 28th January 2011 and will be greatly missed.
Thank you to Mrs. Bainbridge for her committment and dedication to Belvoirdale Primary School. :)
Intrepid Explorers wanted!
If you have children between the ages of 5 and 16, bring your family on a fun, creative walk with artist Jo Dacombe as part of her Myth Maps roject at Shibston (younger children also welcome)
When: Sunday 20th February 10 am to 12 noon
Where: starting from Belvoirdale School
Why: To help transform Snibston through art.

Cross Country cancelled
Please be aware that the Cross country competition to be held at Western Parkon Saturday 22nd January 2011 has been cancelled.
Local races will still take place unless otherwise advised.

Cross Country Race
There will be a cross country race on Saturday 22nd January 2011 at Western Park. The first race of the day starts at 10. a.m. Parking is available at New College site on Glenfield Road - charges £1.
Miss Jones will meet all children taking part in the race at the starting area.

Cross Country Training
Cross Country training will recommence on Tuesday 1st February 2011 start time 3.15pm end time 4.15pm Training will last for 3 weeks and the last session will be Tuesday 15th February 2011.

Design and Technology links with Newbridge High School
Once again Years 5 & 6 are working with Newbridge High School on a CAD CAM Project. The project involves the children using technology to turn sporting images into individual Computer Aided Designs.

Karate Club

A Happy New Year and Welcome Back :)
The first day of term has gone smoothly and without a flake of snow. I hope everyone managed to have some relaxation time over the festive season. Please be reminded that on Monday 10th January 2011 Dietician Paula McKee will be leading an open session on Health Heating in the hall from 3.15pm onwards. Please come along and Paula will only be too happy to answer any questions you may have.
