Life Education Bus - Welcome to Belvoirdale, Harold!
From Monday through to Thursday, Harold will be visiting all year groups at Belvoirdale.
Tailor-made programmes
LECs' (Life Education Centres) highly-trained educators work with children from the age of three upwards. Programmes are tailored to the age range of the group so, for example, a classroom of three and four-year-olds will learn about how their body works and what it needs to stay healthy, whereas a classroom of 10 to 11-year-olds will explore the effects of drugs on the organs and issues of peer pressure. A variety of audio-visual techniques are used, including a puppet giraffe called Harold, a talking brain.

I'd like to say thank you to everyone for supporting the fund raising events being held at Belvoirdale so that we can continue to provide this valuable educational resource.
