Dear Parents

Just a brief letter to introduce myself. My name is Anne Bufton-McCoy and I have been appointed as Headteacher of our school. The new Deputy Headteacher is Miss Kelly Deakin and we are both looking forward to working with you.

As you already know the school has been judged to be in serious difficulties and I am very keen to ensure that everything possible is done to secure the best education for your children.

I would be very happy to meet with you to talk about your hopes for the future. Please come to one of the following meetings on Monday 16th January 2012 in the school hall if you can:

10.30 a.m. 2.15 p.m. or 6.30 p.m.

As Headteacher of a school in Birmingham for the last few years, I have always done my best to be available to listen to parents concerns - if you are worried about some aspect of your child's education the please don't hesitate to contact me.

Looking forward to meeting you.

Christmas Fair - Monday 19th December, 2011

Friends and Families of Belvoirdale will be holding their annual Christmas Fair on Monday 19th December, 2011 straight after school. There will be all the usual stalls plus a very special visitor for the children. Your support is very much appreciated.

Christmas Carol Servce - Friday 16th December, 2011

A warm invitation is extended to everyone to join the children and staff as we celebrate Christmas with our traditional Carol Service at Marlborough Square Church. The service will begin at 10 a.m. and the children will be singing a selection of songs from their Christmas productions in addition to the traditional carols.

Foundation Stage and Key Stage One Themed Day

A huge thanks goes to everyone who supported our themed day. Special thanks go to all the parents and grand-parents who joined the children as they moved round the school making items for Christmas. The school was a hive of activity as the children produced tree decorations, printed wrapping paper and designed some very special angels. Each child got to choose one favourite item to take home and the rest will be available to purchase at our forthcoming Christmas Fair, which will be held after school on Monday 19th December, 2011.
